GENERAL QUESTIONS
1. What is Auxano Forever?
Auxano Forever is a family-run business founded in Ghana with a mission to share the rich, natural benefits of African ingredients like Shea Butter and Baobab Oil with customers across the United States. Our products are sustainably sourced, handcrafted, and rooted in centuries of African tradition.
2. Are your products 100% natural?
Yes! All Auxano Forever products are 100% natural and free from chemicals, parabens, synthetic fragrances, and preservatives. What you see on the label is exactly what you get — pure, raw goodness from nature.
3. Are your products safe for sensitive skin?
Absolutely. Our Shea Butter and Baobab Oil are gentle and hypoallergenic, making them ideal for sensitive skin, babies, and those with eczema, psoriasis, or other skin conditions. As with any skincare product, we recommend doing a patch test before full application.
SHEA BUTTER
4. What is Shea Butter, and how is it made?
Shea Butter is a creamy fat extracted from the nuts of the Shea tree, native to West Africa. Ours is traditionally handcrafted by women's cooperatives in Ghana, using age-old methods that preserve its healing and moisturising properties.
5. What are the benefits of using Shea Butter?
Deeply moisturises dry skin
Heals cracked heels and chapped lips
Soothes eczema, rashes, and sunburn
Reduces stretch marks and scarring
Strengthens and softens hair
Acts as a natural anti-ageing and anti-inflammatory agent
6. Can I use Shea Butter on my face and hair?
Yes. Shea Butter is non-comedogenic, meaning it won’t clog pores, making it safe for facial use. It also works wonders as a natural conditioner or leave-in treatment for dry or curly hair.
7. How do I apply Shea Butter?
Scoop a small amount and warm it between your hands. Apply directly to skin, hair, lips, or any dry area. For best results, use after bathing when your skin is still slightly damp.
8. What is the shelf life of Shea Butter?
Raw Shea Butter lasts up to 24 months when stored properly in a cool, dry place away from sunlight. If the texture changes slightly over time, it’s still safe to use — that’s nature at work!
BAOBAB OIL
9. What is Baobab Oil?
Baobab Oil is a luxurious oil cold-pressed from the seeds of the African Baobab tree, also known as the “Tree of Life.” Rich in antioxidants, vitamins A, D, E, and essential fatty acids, it's perfect for skin and hair rejuvenation.
10. What are the benefits of Baobab Oil?
Boosts skin elasticity and reduces fine lines
Treats dry scalp and promotes hair growth
Fades dark spots and hyperpigmentation
Helps with acne due to its anti-inflammatory properties
Absorbs quickly without clogging pores or leaving residue
11. How do I use Baobab Oil?
Apply 2–3 drops directly to your face, scalp, or skin and massage gently. It can also be mixed into your lotion, conditioner, or bath water for enhanced nourishment.
12. Is Baobab Oil suitable for all skin types?
Yes. Baobab Oil is lightweight and non-greasy, making it ideal for oily, dry, sensitive, or combination skin types.
13. Can Baobab Oil be used during pregnancy?
Definitely. It’s safe for pregnant women and is highly recommended for preventing and minimising stretch marks due to its deep skin-repairing properties.
STORAGE & PACKAGING
14. How should I store my Auxano Forever products?
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Always use clean, dry hands or tools when scooping Shea Butter or applying Baobab Oil to maintain product quality.
15. Do your containers use eco-friendly packaging?
We are committed to sustainability. Our containers are recyclable, and we continuously work to reduce our carbon footprint through ethical sourcing and minimal packaging.
SAFETY & ALLERGIES
16. Can I use these products on my baby?
Yes. Both Shea Butter and Baobab Oil are gentle enough for infants. Many parents use them for baby eczema, diaper rash, and cradle cap. Still, consult with a paediatrician if your child has known allergies.
17. Are there any known side effects?
Side effects are rare. However, individuals with nut allergies should consult a doctor before using Shea Butter, as it is derived from tree nuts. Always conduct a patch test on a small area of skin.
